Anointing of the Sick

“Whoever is sick among you call the priests of the Church so that they pray for him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord” (James 5:14-15). 

Jesus continues His ministry of healing of the soul and comfort in our illnesses in this sacrament. Anyone past the age of reason (7 years old) who is seriously ill or who is going to have major surgery or is elderly can avail themselves of Anointing of the Sick. 



Our Lord brings healing and peace to the soul of the sick person and according to His will, healing of the body as well.
